This room is spacious and can easily be switched between a twin room and a double room. Named after the curious warthogs that would wander into the room before the veranda had railings! They can't get in here anymore, but still come right up to the veranda's edge regularly. Since the room is outside the house, facilities include a refrigerator and coffee corner for a midnight snack. Doors open onto the veranda.

Marloth Park
Marloth Park is a wildlife conservation area about 7km in diameter, bordering Kruger National Park along the Crocodile River to the North. Lionspruit Nature Reserve lies to the South and is practically in Marloth Park.
Within Marloth Park, the absence of fences allows animals within the park to walk freely among the few houses. Animals within the park include kudu, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, hundreds of bird species, wildebeest, many different gazelle, a few smaller predators and reptiles, and many more. Although many of the species have become quite accustomed to humans, coming very close to the houses at times, they remain wild animals, and should always be treated with the necessary respect and caution.
Besides the wildlife and accommodation, Marloth Park has two general dealers, a fuel station, an Atm, and even a bottle store for the thirsty! This means that almost anything you forgot to bring along can probably be bought in Marloth Park. (Having Khaya Umdani stocked before your arrival can be organized with the stores in Marloth Park. Our contact person, Louise, can help you organize this third-party service - be sure to ask Her!)
Kruger National Park
Kruger National Park, the largest nature reserve in South Africa, is home to a very diverse range of wildlife species. Animals include the Big 5, smaller species and many different kinds of birds. Most of the roads within the park are tarred and those that are not are still accessible with most ordinary two-wheel-drive vehicles. I it's wildlife you're after, Kruger National Park is the place to find it! Day trips, hiking, breakfast trips, and many other activities can be enjoyed within Kruger Park - for help organizing these services, ask our friendly contact person.
Mpumalanga
Mpumalanga is a holiday maker's paradise, with fun outdoor activities, abundant wildlife, numerous scenic drives and locations, and so much more! Located in the far North East of South Africa, the province borders both Swaziland and Mozambique. Towns in Mpumalanga are mostly equipped to accommodate tourists, offering accommodation, fine South African dining, and much more. The Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in Nelspruit is serviced by South African Airlines Airlink and receives flights from most South African cities.
