Adorable 2 bedroom house a stones throw from cafes and restaurants in historical Harfield Village. This cosy and quirky home is a perfect base from which to explore the best Cape Town has to offer, positioned halfway between the beaches of False bay and the V&A Waterfront.
Watch the sun go down behind Table Mountain on the traditional front "stoep" or relax under the Bouganvillea. The house has a small back garden with a fire pit and a braai for warm summer evenings. Our solar festival lights turn on automatically when the sun goes down.
We welcome you and your pets to enjoy the property. All boundary walls are solid and secure and all the floors are easy to clean. The installed lawn in the front garden is pet-friendly and the house is all on one level to minimise jumping or injury to you or your loved ones.
The fireplace is a perfect place for you and your furry friend to snuggle up and snooze while you enjoy your favourite show. The kitchen is equipped with all amenities and a few extras to make you feel at home. Help yourself to anything in the cupboards.
The easy-to-use dishwasher the big SMEG fridge will make your stay frost and hassle free! We have an electric kettle and stove however we have a small gas-burner and stove-top kettle for load-shedding. The cleaning products can be found in the cupboard under the sink.
The living room has a smart TV with various apps including Netflix, Showmax, YouTube and Prime. You will need to login to your own accounts. The Wi-Fi is Fibre uncapped and connected to a seamless UPS. Perfect for working from home or streaming while the lights are out.
Both bedrooms have lovely, firm beds. A queen sized mattress in the main bedroom and a double in the second. The main bedroom boasts huge cupboards and gorgeous natural light. The dresser is equipped with a hairdryer.
Both bedrooms also have a designated workspace perfect for zoom calls and close to Wi-Fi. Fresh linens, blankets and hot water bottles provided in both rooms.
The bathroom is a full house with a large bath/shower,soap and loo-paper. The connecting room between the kitchen and bathroom has a tumble dryer. The washing machine is in the cupboard and the washing powder, brooms and vacuum cleaner will be found there too.
You will also find the iron and ironing board in this location. There is a washing line in the courtyard outside the kitchen window. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do!
The property has a gardener who maintains the garden once a week. The gardener has access to outside the property (the garden) but will not enter the inside of the property (the house).
