Positive: The location was excellent, within easy walking distance to all major attractions and markets. There was also plentiful public transport nearby, making it easy to get around. The staff were exceptionally helpful before our arrival and throughout our stay. Their friendly and professional service added to the positive experience. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, offering everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We did not opt for the breakfast, so cannot comment on that offering. Overall a great stay - we would happily recommend this hotel to others and would return ourselves.

Negative: While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas that could be improved. Firstly, we encountered an issue with a blocked drain in our room. Although it was reported twice during our stay, the problem unfortunately persisted throughout. While we understand that maintenance issues can occur, a quicker resolution would have been appreciated. Secondly, we made use of the hotel's airport transfer service, booking a Mercedes van for both pick-up and drop-off. The arrival transfer was excellent - clean vehicle, courteous driver, and smooth experience. However, the return trip to the airport was disappointing. The van provided was in noticeably poor condition - dirty, possibly unroadworthy, and there was a loud mechanical noise that suggested a wheel bearing or differential issue. In addition, the driver's attitude was unprofessional. When we politely requested that the air-conditioning be turned on, we were told it wasn't necessary because of the weather. Despite this, the vehicle was uncomfortably stuffy inside. Moreover, the driver engaged in unsafe driving behavior, including excessive speeding and tailgating on the highway, which made the trip stressful. We did send a message to the hotel regrinding this upon arrival at the airport, but unfortunately, received no response. Cost of the round trip to the airport was 140 Euros! We hope this feedback is taken constructively, as the rest of our stay was enjoyable and the staff generally went out of their way to be helpful.
