Summary: The first room they went to put me in smelled like cigarettes everywhere. They have removed the smoke detectors even though it’s a non-smoking hotel apparently someone fully smoked in one of the rooms. I could barely breathe in there. I had them move me to another room. I am a disabled person, so this is already challenging and hard on me. The second room had live and dead cockroaches. I was so exhausted from traveling the night before and not sleeping. I opted to stay in the same room. Because they weren’t going to be able to move me till the next day anyways and my reservation was only for three days. I ended up making another reservation to stay for two more days after they moved me to another room. They said they were going to give me a discount for the hassle, but weren’t able to because I booked it through a third-party. Then there system has been trying to pull the money from my account every day after I already paid. Some of the people are helpful and some of them don’t really care very much. And the whole hallway smells like mold because of recent flooding they had. I don’t think they have enough money to fix their problems. At least it’s nicer than a motel six. They need better maintenance and upkeep. Also, the coffee machine in the room was very gross and unusable. They are making effort. They just need help.
