A large garden housing a kids playground with a trampoline and jungle gym. Main bedroom is ensuite and leads onto a private balcony. Three further upstairs bedrooms Each with their own en suite bathrooms, 2 of them leading onto balconies. Positioned between all 4 bedrooms is the pyjama Lounge/tv room which leads onto a chill-out balcony with hanging chairs under pergola and oak tree. All upstairs rooms are air conditioned and have underfloor heating.
Downstairs there is a formal lounge/dining room with a 14 seater dining table and wood fireplace. Sliding and stacking doors open the room up to the outside. Fully fitted kitchen, scullery and pantry with all mod cons and appliances available. Informal Lounge/tv room off kitchen, and a fifth bedroom en suite with access to outside patio and garden.
There is a garage for four cars, With direct access into the house.

Fresnaye is a quiet, wind free suburb within 5-10 minutes of the Cbd, V&a Waterfront and our beautiful Clifton and Camps Bay beaches.
When the summer South Easter winds are pumping throughout the Cape, Fresnaye is one of the few areas to escape the wind, conveniently sheltered by our Lions Head Mountan.
Aside from a solar geyser and solar heating for the pool, there is a solar electrical feed with a backup solution over power outages and load shedding. Grey water tanks to keep the lawn and trees alive in times of water shortage as well as rain storage tanks to make sure that the pool is always full.
There is a housekeeper on site that works Mon - Friday full days. She knows the house inside out and is great with kids and available for babysitting. Gardner and pool minder twice a week will keep the outside in tiptop shape.

Please note, the current water issue is a sensitive subject at the moment and becoming a bigger worry as the weeks pass without rain. The city has been put on 6b water restrictions as of 1 February and I have taken precautionary measures by installing grey water systems, rainwater holding tanks to keep plants alive and the pool filled as well as additional storage tanks for purchased water to fill from a reliable source who has good quality water if needed.
I have someone on standby to install a filtration system that feeds this water into our mains for flushing toilets and washing if the municipal supply is turned off, but I personally doubt this could happen, and surely some rain should come in the next couple of months to see us through to winter...
Whether my system is put in place or not, we do whatever necessary steps we can to conserve the water we have, and ask that guests are sympathetic to this. Short showers, no bathing, washing cars, watering gardens, doing fewer and fuller laundry and dishwasher loads or even flushing toilets unnecessarily are helping us keep to our advised 50 liters per person per day usage.
We have removed plugs from baths, placed containers in all showers to capture water to use for flushing toilets instead of pushing a button to flush the 9 litres of perfect drinking water down. Everyone is doing this and it is all helping extending the reserve of dam water we have.
Aside from this all, Cape Town is running as per normal, restaurants, beaches, and all tourist sites are still full, the weather has been beautiful (aside from the much desired lack of rain!) and there is ample drinking water to purchase in our stores.
