Summary: This hotel has a lot going for it. Close to OR Tambo, with a half hourly shuttle service means getting to and from the airport is effortless. Comfortable rooms - albeit not well equipped for a Jo’Burg winter. Friendly staff good food etc and not overpriced. Three things let this hotel down badly: 1. The lighting in the rooms is extremely poor 2. The hotel lifts are very inefficient and I have found myself having to wait unacceptable times for a lift 3. The fittings in the rooms are starting to show their age Other than that the hotel is very clean and comfortable and I have enjoyed the hospitality on at least four occasions
