Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location close to harbour, downtown & provincial legislature building. Comfortable beds and clean. Shuttle service to downtown locations until 9pm. Convenient above ground parking. Breakfast restaurant on property, but note this cannot be charged to your room.

Negative: Tow truck and delivery truck noise starting just after 6am on a weekday. 80s decor extremely dated, resembled staying in granny’s guest bedroom. Front desk staff failed to inform us about complimentary shuttle service; this we had to infer from seeing a driver and vehicle parked at the door. Some dithering about whether this was available or not. Surprise parking fee of approximately $25 per day. No mention of apparently complimentary coffee in the lobby. Told all amenities were in the basement but not what any of them were. Did not find any information in the room either.

Summary: Not a good value, not friendly, but adequate in a pinch.
