Positive: We had a truly wonderful overnight stay at the Southern Whale self-catering unit in Gansbaai. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality by Cindy and Harry, who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The unit itself is spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable — it really felt like a home away from home. Located in a peaceful and scenic part of Gansbaai, the setting is absolutely beautiful, offering a perfect place to relax and unwind. We were particularly impressed by the thoughtful touches throughout the space, the excellent value for money, and the genuine care shown by the hosts. It’s rare to find accommodation that combines comfort, location, and hospitality so effortlessly. Overall, our stay at Southern Whale was a memorable one, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gansbaai. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.
