Our holiday house in Sout Africa is called Blaaskans, which literally means a moment to rest/
relax. This is exactly the intention while visiting villa Blaaskans/South Africa.
The villa is provided with three large bedrooms. The master bedroom is the largest bedroom, in this room you can find a double bed and it has also been provided with a luxury bathroom. Bedroom two has a beautiful double four-poster bed and has been provided with sliding doors to the adjoining terrace. Bathroom three has been provided with two single beds. All bedrooms have a ventilator and an airconditioning system.
The villa offers a large living with sliding doors on both sides, for you to optimally enjoy the fantastic view. In the living you can find a spacious corner seat, comfy chairs and a fireplace. Adjoining to the living there is the open kitchen, including a gas burner with 5 rings, oven, microwave, electric kettle, coffee-maker, toaster, American fridge with cold water tap and an ice cube machine. In the room next to the kitchen (scullary) you can find the dishwasher, washing machine and drier. In short having all facilities.
Villa Blaaskans has two spacious bathrooms, of which one on the master bedroom. This bathroom includes a bath, rain shower and double washbasin. The other bathroom is located between bedroom two and three. Both bathrooms adjoin one of the two outdoor showers with a fabulous view on the Drakensbergen and the Bush.
Outside you can find several terraces, equipped with deck chairs and a lounge-set directly adjoining the private pool. At the front of the villa you can find a double carport.
Villa Blaaskans is located on an own nature reserve (Zandspruit) where several harmless animals walk around. It is possible to be eye to eye with a giraffe or a zebra during an evening stroll. Even around the villa you can encounter wild (harmless) animals, this way you can experience the animals from real close.
From the villa it’s approximately a 5 minute drive to the village of Hoedspruit. The village has everything you may need, there are 2 supermarkets, 3 restaurants, an Internet café and several clothing stores.
The village is surrounded by several nature reserves and therefore it is very safe. Villa Blaaskans lies at a 45 minute drive of the famous Kruger Park and the Blyde River Canyon.
