Positive: The property and especially the grounds are beautiful - so well cared for by Elijah & Maria, who were very welcoming. It was a lovely place to base our family for NYE whilst enjoying the weather and the surroundings of Franschhoek. The house had all the mod-cons you could ask for, and was fully stocked with all the kitchen & food basics. Wynand was great at staying in contact and making sure everything was fine, and all the necessary ‘stuff’ for baby was provided for which was a god-send.

Negative: Given we locked the house up each evening and only used the bedroom windows, the lack of cross breeze and cool air was noticeable. Ceiling fans would top off this venue!
