Our home is uniquely located centrally in George, nestled under the Outeniqua mountains in the peaceful suburb of Fernridge. The deck overlooks our wild garden with large tree ferns and bamboo, and a river and small waterfall. It really is peace and tranquility in the city.
There is a fully equipped kitchen and everything you'll need to enjoy a home away from home stay!
George is a wonderful place from which to explore the famous South African garden route and Klein Karoo with so many things to do. On our doorstep is the beautiful mountain boasting many beautiful trails and the botanical gardens are a short walk away which is home to George Parkrun.
We have three very friendly dogs who roam the property, they love to say hello and sometimes enjoy sunbathing on the deck!
Please note, South Africa is currently experiencing load shedding. This means power is turned off for certain periods of time. We provide battery powered lights and candles for illumination! The stove is gas so can be ignited with a match. Unfortunately there is no hot water during load shedding, but of course we do have running water.
