Our newly- built modern home on the West Coast of South Africa is situated on a rise with 180 degree views of the Atlantic Ocean and only 90 kms from Cape Town’s CBD.The home has ample parking and is built on a double sized plot so is very spacious,comprising of 4 bedrooms with 3 having King-sized beds and the 4th bedroom having 2x3/4 beds.All of the full bathrooms are modern and neat as a pin.
There is a huge entertainment area with a stainless steel barbeque and coal stove.There are also 2x long-burning fireplaces ( one in the main bedroom and one in the lounge area).The frameless glass doors open onto a level swimming pool which allows you to sit in the tub and watch the ocean...
The home lends itself to both indoor and outdoor living.There is a fully equipped scullery as well as a walk-in pantry cupboard.
If it’s a quiet recluse with all ammenities you’re looking for, then this house could well be the piece of Heaven on earth you’ve been searching for....As far as the town is concerned,it is a quiet holiday town with many retired folk and not much in the way of happenings.There is a conveniently sized Spar grocery store and a couple of beach-type boutiques.Also there are about three restaurants at which to eat however if one journies a little further up the coast there is a town called Langebaan with a “younger “feel and 20 minutes inland from Yzerfontein is a town called Darling with it’s own magical appeal.
